Saw blade shrimp. A very interesting subject that are quite shy but rarely leaves when being photographed. I used to have difficulties in finding them, they seems to be seasonal in certain places.

How close is close enough when you are laying next to a scorpion fish? This close.
She is under the rather large anemone just hanging out. She kept peeking out to see if I was still there. Later, a juvenile false clown fish came out from behind her to see what was going on. It turned out, she was just protecting her young.

This juvenile batfish image was taken in back in 2007 in Palau. When we were resting in between dives we realized this little guy and went after her with our snorkels. Taken with D70 in Ikelite housing under natural light. F/14, 1/125 sec. exposure.
