A diver points to the rocker beam of the passenger sidewheeler, Rothesay, lost in the St. Lawrence River near Prescott, Ontario in September 1889. Nikonos V, Sea & Sea 12mm lens, Kodak 800 asa film, manual exposure. Cropped & colour corrected.
"Feathers on a cloud", feather stars resting on cloud sponge.
A night dive in Stuart Channel, near Chemainus BC. This is an area with plenty of feather stars , and a few cloud sponge. This is the first time I have seen them both togeather.
Vigilant Specter - The Lionfish has invaded the atlantic waters of the caribbean in vast numbers, and are exploding in population tenfold, due to the lack of preditors. This lionfish was patrolling Jakes Hole, in the Exumas caye chain in the Bahamas

ah, the old hidden strobe on slave - works every time
Ice Divers using cave techniques at the start of their dive at Morrison's Quarry, Canada. Scanned from the negative at 2400 dpi and colour corrected. Nikonos V, 12mm Sea & Sea lens, Fuji 400 ASA film.

Snack Time
This was done in the Bahamas just off the coast of Nassau. It was my first roll of film using my Nikonos v and 200 speed film with 20mm lens and a Nikonos SB105 Strobe.
