Keeping an eye out
baby goby in a star coral in the engine dive site in parguera area!
Yes, another Feather Duster found on the reef in Roatan.
I really like the Squirrelfish but mywife says that his eyes are ugly! I just call him walleye. Taken in Bonaire.
Slow motion battle. Branched fire coral (Millepora alcicornis) overgrowing a sea plume (Pseudopterogorgia).
Paradise Reef, Cozumel, Mexico. Nokonos V with strobe. This was from first roll of film using Nikonos V with strobe. Non edited!
This little octopus on Bonaire was about the size of my hand. He was perfectly camouflaged against the sand and rubble, but his movement gave him away.
This image is some species of a Nudibranchia or Sea Slug. Careful eyes to find this creature on the reef in Roatan. I used my DC500 to photograph this critter and used 2 external flash units.
nice flamingo tongue at super bowl dive site in parguera area!!
This French Angel was giving me the eye on a dark evening in Bonaire. I thought it was quite beautiful!
Hilma Hooker . Bonaire
Curious bluespotted cornetfish. Night shot, Graham's Harbor, San Salvador.
Diver and Turtle at the Wreck of the Rhone
I thought a little desaturation of the background would be fun to accentuate the colors of this Seahorse, one of the ones in my 2007 archive.
Nikon D70 60mm Macro
I took this with a cannon A40 in a underwater case with camera strobe. I just used photo shop to adjust the colors and boy was I surprised
peterson cleaning shrimp at black wall dive site in parguera area!
Although the photo is boring the color is beautiful. This photo was taken while entering Marys Place in Roatan last year. Lots to see off the wall which is home to the premier dive site in Roatan.
Ray over sand in shallow water
This Eagle Ray has a very unique face and it looks like it was smiling at me for this hard to get angle as they are very shy. Taken in Bonaire.
Caribbean Reef Octopus, Government Dock, San Salvador Island
Close up to a Sea Rod (Gorgonian) at Parguera, Puerto Rico. Canon G7 and Inon 165 macro lens.
French Angel
White Mermaid's Wine Glasses
Olympus SP350 with Dual Ikelite Strobes
Tiny Red Frogfish off the coast of Curacao.
Diving in Roatan always offers the chance for a small but candid shot. This Neon Gobie decided he would slow down for a photo. I used a DC500 and dual external flashes when I shot this photo in 2007.
