This was our best whaleshark encounter this spring. We managed to stay with the shark for several minutes and I got shots from all angles. Gladden Spit, Belize, taken 9am this morning.
Social Feather Dusters swaying in the shallow surge while doing my safety stop. Taken with a Sea&Sea 5000g w/ 2 x YS-25a.
This Southern Stingray looks as if he would be saying " They dont see me". The Stingray was buried between the finger reefs off Ambergris Key. The photo was taken with a Sealife DC200 w/ Strobes. I was able to get several photos of this subject.
My friend Tony taking on this ocellate swimming crab.
Spinner dolphin taken on a calm day in Belize.
Flying Gunard.
I took this image with a small canon digital Elph. I was taken free diving, in maybe 30' of water. I love to watch these things glide.
Another whaleshark from The Gladden Spit snapper spawning aggregation event, Southern Belize. Taken this morning.
This photo was taken in Cozumel in Dec of 2005, there were 2 French Angels in this hole along with 2 Queen Angels. All photo friendly.
Puffer coming around the bend.
This lettuce sea slug was about the size of my thumb. A bit more colorful though...
Sponges and soft corals at the top of the reef, the photo was taken with the Sealife DC200 using a single strobe, while ascending for safety stop
Saw a sun halo out just after getting home from diving. Thought everyone would enjoy =)
Snorkelling a wreck on The Belize Barrier Reef.
A whaleshark taken yesterday morning at the snapper spawning aggregation on Gladden Spit, Southern Belize
