Balssia gasti. This is a small shrimp living on gorgonia. Either it lives on a red or a yellow seafan, it gets the color of its "home". Its size is about 10 mm, less than a 1/2 inch.
Another view of the inside of the Kalais, laying in front of the harbour of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, in 30 m depth.

Nice wreck, foreground interesting - well done Arthur!
Octopus, waiting for "fast food" (but not too fast food) at the entrance of it's "home"
Diver, sun and not much more. Sometimes that's all one needs for a photo, don't you think so?
Zeus faber. This is one of the strangest fishes living in this area. It's normally in depths more than 40 meter, but at certain places here in Gran Canaria sometimes we can see it by night at only 15 meter or less.
Red sea-horse. This is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. This animal was living a few years at the same place, and we visited it almost every time we went there. The photo has the original frame, and has no photoshop adjusts.

Now here's a cutie even Dr Bob would be proud of
Gerardia savaglia. This is one of the most beautyful colonies of this species here at the Canary Islands. It is about 1,20 meter wide and you can see it visiting Gran Canaria and diving at a place named Playa de Cabron, in 30 meters depth.
The machine-room of the Kalais. This beautyful wreck laying in only 30 meters depth will disappear because it is inside the ampliation area of the exterior mole of the harbour at Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. This picture was taken may 2004.

We love moody wrecks Arthur
Bream at night in their posedonia garden. Combination of camara flash and a torch did the trick.
Caves are very interesting places for a play with the light fall... Menorca has wonderfull caves.
Flabellina ischiata fotografiado en la reserva biológica de Cabo de Palos, Murcia
