What splendid eyes these little gobies have  They hide in small crevices in rocks. They are shy but curious and it is easy to photograph them when they lean out to scrutinize the external environment. Havelock Is._April2024

Beach entry, low tides best. Beautiful circular route, anticlockwise is best. Best condition slack northerly or NW/NE, sea state F2 or less. This is a cold water dice in shallow water. Night dice wonderful. You never can tell what will run up.
