This is a Spinyhead Blenny. Finding them in the Caribbean is easy. Finding one with a clean and crisp background Very difficult but this one was and even yawned

One of my favorite dive sites at South Georgia. A vertical rock wall drops to over 25M, sheltered by Macrocystis kelp and heavily encrusted with sponges and bryozoans. A great place to look for nudibranchs and pycnogonids. Water temperature is usually around 33-35F (0.5-1.5C) in November and February.

Antarctic octocoral, Paragorgia sp. photographed in Stromness Bay, South Georgia, where Sir Earnest Shackleton completed his heroic journey to find rescue for his men. This delicate species is fairly uncommon at the sites I dive.
