A very remote site, difficult to find and access. Open cavern entrance leading down to tunnels. Disciplined cavern/cave techniques and equipment required. Rotten ice reported on site as late as early June. Maximum water temperatures in low 40's F.

A diver in side-mount gear returns to the warm sunlit entrance of a flooded mine near Buckingham, Quebec. Brutally cold, ice cakes are reported to remain until early June. Nikonos V, 12mm Sea & Sea lens, Kodak 400 ASA film, colour corrected.
