Welcome to Rincon PR a well hidden dive secret, I think most people believe that Puerto Rico has very poor water quality, but in fact we have 60Ft plus visibility for at least 8 months out of the year. What keeps our diving a well kept secret is there is only one dive operator in our town (Tiano Divers) and they are subject to the operating around rough weather and loading a boat from a shore launch not marina, this pretty much make us a hard core divers stop, you know people who don't mind a little work to get to dive some great reefs and walls, we have two island within reach of our coast. First is Desacheo Island which sits about 12 miles west of our town and Mona Island located 42 miles offshore. Desacheo is a marine reserve as is Mona but Mona being so hard to plan a trip too is our version of heaven on earth, If your ever in PR I suggest you take dive and see for your self, you might just end up moving here as I did.

the new site of west divers -west divers plan to put a mermaid statue,,full of fish like,,,jacks, great baracuda,porgys,groupers,snapers, hogfish,blue tang,butterflyfish,rock beuty,turtles,nurse sharks and more,,,,a place for easy encounter with green eels,,,,,,rock and coral area,,ledge {small wall } reef 65' max depth,,,,full of color! is a very good reef , tour is easy swim!! no current!!! divemasters make it easy for divers and fun!!!! the best!!!

is a 5 star dive site, full of fish and coral,,hammer head area,,in the top of the wall is a 55' and go down to a 400' first step.2 step go down to 600' but this dive is a 95 'dive,,,,the trench at 95' is like 200' long east to west full of sponge,yellow tube,convoluted barrel and more,,mollusk,nudibranch,octopus,squid,flamingo tongue,christmas trees,red banded lobsters,hermit crabs,tunicates and many more,,,,,full of color this wall dive site!!!!

Great site for Macro photography. Deepest part is about 45 feet. Small wall coming from about 15 to the deepest end at 45. Not big marine animals, except the ocasional dolphin, resident nurse sharks and sea turtles. Great site for small critters like lobsters, and reef fish.
