I found this interesting coral formation that looked like a skull with a miss shaped mustache while diving the RMS Rhone wreck.

Used to be a wonderful dive site easily accessible through what was then a nurses teaching school. Now I believe part of UCNW Bangor. Now a marine reserve.

A small spring-fed lake in the North of England. Excellent on-site dive shop and facilities for air fills etc. The lake is mainly useful for training, but has some large Brown and Rainbow Trout, a few Sturgeon, some Perch and some Roach. There are numerpus small wrecks and training areas. The visibility is surprisingly good.

You need permission from Thames Water to dive here. This includes various restrictions such as A flags and probably not in high season!

My buddy was scared out of his wetsuit when a 3 foot sturgeon(?) jumped out of a shopping trolley he disturbed.

This is the best of the German high seas fleet wrecks scuttled at the end of WWI. If you scuba dive this wreck its best to do on a twinset but a rebreather is best. A good dive guide is here.

River dive under stone bridge, yellow/brown peaty water. Fast flowing after rains. Lovely boulder shapes - brown trout, eels, salmon, freshwater fish - gobies. No facilities, access slippery. Temp down to 1-2'C in winter.

Gentle boat dive - sheltered from prevailing SWesterlies.
Kelp and weed covered ridges with sandy strips in between.

Lot of small macro life on a flat gravel bottom with Pentapora foliacea. Not much to see unless you're a macro-photographer - then plenty if you look. Subjects usually around 3 inches or less.

Lots of interesting reefs around Exmouth, but not a lot of diving gfoes on. Silty near river. One dive shop, for air, by car park so you can tow your boat to the airstation. Decent slip, and cheap carpark. Dock side cafe does gret sausage and bacon rolls

2 valentine tanks with amphibious modification, prepareing for D day. These are 2 of 6 sunk in Poole bay that led to a change in British tactics - but not US. All British Valentines landed in Normandy successfully. All US ones failed to reach shore.

This area of reef covering approximately one square mile, is an abundance of shipwrecks and reefs ranging from 8m to 80m. There has been more loss of shipping here than on any other comparable reef on the entire south coast of Britain, with over 110 ships and more than 1,000 lives lost.
Located less than one mile from the launch site, the Manacles, one of the best dive sites on the south coast of Cornwall, offers some of the most exciting diving in the country.
Loads of Nudibranchs and if you are lucky even Basking sharks!!
