The bay right in front of Puerto Galera has some great critters to observe. Frog Fish, Sea Horses, many types of Pipe Fish. Also a great place to see Mandarin fish at dusk. Visibility usually good except when heavy traffic occurs from boats in the bay. Sometimes gets crowded so be careful when surfacing.

The resort has a house reef right in front of it. Good for skin diving at the shallow waters as well as going deeper at the drop also close to the site.

Great for macro - this site has it all, frogfishes, various nudies, different varieties of seahorse (including pygmies - h. bragibanti), regular and flamboyant cuttlefishes, shrimps (tiger, coleman, sawblade), crabs (zebra, halimeda, orangutan)... and the list goes on and on.
Whale sharks and schooling yellowfin have also been spotted here, but not with any regularity.

Ideal dive site for night dives - you can expect to see seahorses, mandarin, crabs and critters - and all around an old world war wreck. Beautiful night dive around a fallen apart Japanese wreck - lots of smallcreatures (crabs, squids, seahorses, etc).
