Very easy dive site used for introductory and training dives. Max Depth around 10m. Entry very easy. Wade in to waist height, add fins etc then wade further until deep enough to defend. Slow gradual slope out . Marine life includes families of squid, and shoals of trumpet fish, octopus, moray eels, lots of sea grass and in all the years I've dived there only recently spotted a Seagrass Pipefish. Wrasse and bream usually plentiful but are often fed by diving instructors for entertainment of novice divers. Some statues have been placed there to make the site a bit more interesting- divers often comment that it's a boring site but I've always found it interesting and great for photography.

Abyss Dive Center is a PADI 5 star dive center situated in Cyprus on the main coast avenue from Paphos town to Coral Bay area. Sun is very generous here and in the summer the temperature can rise up to 40 degrees C. Water temperatures can rise to 28 C – 30 C. Underwater visibility is excellent and varies from 20-25 meters, sometimes even exceeding 30 meters.

This is a site that Turtle Divers at Sempati Hotel took us to on several occasions. I prefer not to disclose the location in fear that fishermen will go after the groupers. As you can tell from this photo, they are very tame and unafraid of divers.
