Santa Barbara Janolus at Monterey Wharf 2. We have been seeing these up here the last bunch of years in the fall. They used to not be this far north.

Bay Pipefish in eel grass at Monterey Wharf 2. He was hiding in the eel grass and was difficult to get a clear shot of but I managed to capture this dramatic image.

snail living in fresh water swamp :d ice cold to capture this photo and also a bit smelly but totally worth it 1 try for each photo and then bottom was stirred up enough to ruin 2nd photo, used 1 kraken video light for focus and ysd2 strobe for flash
