Shots that have been digitally edited outside of the camera for creative reasons (not brightness/contrast etc.) in a program like PhotoShop
"Electric Sea-Horse" this little critter had some natural blue lines and blue hue that I enhanced a "bit"
sea urchin abstract
eyes only.... otopus hiding in its cave
Scuba diving on the HMAS Swan, Dunsborough, WA
This shot is of my husband whilst we were snorkelling on Rottnest Island, Western Australia. I used a GoPro camera to take the shot.
Fireworm ...on the moon
took two picks down there and then put them together lobster sure look tasty.
inspired in gyotaku, a traditional method of Japanese fish printing, dating from the mid-1800s. This form of nature printing may have been used by fishermen to record their catches, but has also become an artform on its own. (BN filter+inverse curve)
Grey Reef Shark, Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos "wheeleri". I was trying to change the contrast of the original photo and stumbled across contour lines which gave it a 'grainy' effect. I liked the confronting/ironic effect of a soft pink shark.
Clam Mantle Manipulated Great Barrier Reef at Osprey
Again no real photoshop but grey & sepia conversions in Aperture: Caribbean reef shark at Tiger Beach!

"Mystic wreck"
Winter mood Yellowface pikeblenny
I didn't use photoshop but played with some Aperture effects (color sepia conversion and monochrome adds) to get the mood I wanted!
shortlistedShortlisted!
Diving from Lissenung Resort PNG, 10 year old Gabriel from Kavieng PNG while spearfishing. He also sings beautifully. More settings than true manipulation.
