From time to time these Crystal Jellyfish gets swept inshore from the deep pelagic waters by up-welling. Its a long and harsh journey and finding a beautiful in-tacked jelly at the end of it is a rare find.

Diving in a kelp forest do feel as if you are in forest with one major benefit, you can glide to where ever you would like to go. It makes the forest experience even more surreal and one of my favourite places to dive!
An angry crab atLa Jolla shores
Lobster Salad. La Jolla Cove, La Jolla. Taken with a Sony RX-100.
The diver and the belayer on the same shot at the ice diving session.
This guy was actually hooked by a fisherman. I didnt see that before i looked at the shot afterwards. Slightly cropped.

Perfectly poised trio. California sea lions frolic in the blue water at the Channel Islands. Shot with Canon 10-22mm zoom in Ikelite Housing using dual DS51 strobes.
