Wakatobi takes pride in conservation and protection efforts. Here is an image of Denise's Pygmy Seahorse found on the Wakatobi "house reef." Image taken with a Canon 5D and Canon 100mm macro lens and Tamron 2x teleconverter.
Under my boat, I was trying a new gear for super macro. This is a very juvenile Serranus hepatus stage (ab. 4mm. long). Maybe the frame is 2mmtrs long side. NO CROP.
Kapalai always offers a large variety of critters for the macro enthusiast. During any regular dive to the 10+ diving sites around the area, it is guaranteed that you will have a lot of opportunities to get that one shot you want smile

I discovered this gorgeous little 12mm Egg Shell False Cowry (Pseudosimnia punctata) almost at the end of our dive in only 7 metres of water. I needed stacked Inon UCL-165 close up lenses and a lot of patience to get the shot in surge.
