Yet Another Christmas Tree Worm
We usually don't see Loggerhead sea turtles in Coz, so this one got EVERYONE'S attention
"Chasing Bubbles" A little Jack keeping me company at the safety stop.
This green turtle was taken at Karpata, Bonaire. The camera was a Nikonos V with a Nikkor 20mm and a Ikelite 400 strobe.
Hawksbill Sea Turtle at Mona Island
Bubbles :P
This guy was actually fairly aggressive - kept following me and darting in front of me!
Spotted scorpionfish - rare for this area.
"Peje Blanco"
A rare Fingerprint cyphoma cowry which was found on the same soft coral as a much more common Flamingo tongue cowry.
Gray Angel
Don't touch the rocks!!!
This humongous Eagle Ray passed by me while I was conducting a reef evaluation for a local NGO at Uvero Reefs, Quintana Roo. She was about 2m wide, the biggest I´ve ever seen!
A kaliedoscopic imagemade from sponges and fish scales. The saturation was then bumped up. I grew up in the 70's and would have proudly hung this on the wall for viewing under the black light. Physchadelic man!
Anchor seen in Turks and Caicos while diving aboard the Aggressor live aboard. Popeye would be proud, although the heart-shaped encrustation might detract from the "manliness" a bit. ( insert Popeye laugh here.)
Small eel at Palancar Gardens, Cozumel, Mexico
This was a sea horse swiming over a sandy area and he stops on a lost anchor. The camera. Olympus SP-560UZ, strobe: Ikelite 400; Picture F/5.6, 1/40 sec.. The shot was taken at Chichiriviche de la Costa, north central shores of Venezuela.

Say Aaahhh.
"Stairway To Heaven" - The main stairway on the sunken "Atlantic Princess", Bayahibe.
This was day one of Travis's dive in the Bahama's. He had hoped to see a turtle and that was the first large marine life he saw.
It looks like a closer call than it was. The kite boarder came into the frame as the pelican was lifting off at the kite boarding beach ion Bonaire.
You never know when an emergency may pop up or the urge will strike?!
