Very small (10mm) Phyllodesmium serratum, grazing on a sea-squirt "inlet".
It looked like a fungus at first sight but when I looked closer it appeared a tiny nudibranch.

This was taken while on a tour for Museum Victoria looking for leafy seadragons under Rapid Bay Jetty - no leafys but beautiful nonetheless!

Took this with my compact canon D10 camera while snorkelling under the pier with my students yesterday. Its a lions tail jelly but quite damaged. I have adjusted the temperature and removed some distracting light patches but liked how it came out...
