Cuba Caribbean SeaVery nice shore dive off the coast of GTMO. Easy entry and exit. Surface swim out from shore at about 080 deg for 200 yards and then drop down. You will find yourself at about 60ft. Head North East for another 200 yards and you will reach the wall. Starts at about 80ft and drops down to below 200ft. Usually the best visibility of all the other dive sites in GTMO

United StatesThe roped off area of the refuge had markers with cables anchoring it. Early one morning one of the manatees was using one of the anchor cables to scratch his belly with. Seems that they do really enjoy having their bellys scratched and maybe the Save the Manatee Club with their left wing Obama loving Jimmy Buffett need to keep their Nazi volunteers away from the snorkelers.

United StatesWith very cold night in late February there was close to 100 manatees sleeping by the Three Sister manatee sanctuary. Birds Underwater runs an excellent operation with covered boats excellent Captains that where always looking out for the safety of the manatees. Plus Hot coffee,cocoa and tea with donuts a totally fantastic dive company.

United States Gulf Of MexicoIt was a beautiful dive considering when we went to the keys. We went during the time hurricane Bill and Tropical storm Anna were passing by so the seas were really rough, with strong surges it wasnt easy to photograph anything, or just dive. I would love to go back and see this reef in normal conditions.

Dominica Caribbean SeaOft neglected site by the larger dive operators because of it's proximity, currently only one dive centre uses this shallow and interesting area. It now has a jetty which will make for some great images once bioaccumulation occurs.
Can be dived by rental kayak, or with AlDive.
