Netherlands Antilles Caribbean SeaNot a shore dive, access by boat only. Mooring line at dive site. One of Bonaire’s most popular dives. In the past, divers had to use ropes to rappel to this site! There are large fans and colorful gorgonians of all shapes and sizes in the shallows. Nice wall drop off at 50 feet. Lack of sand beach makes for clear vis. The beautiful coral formations appear to have been planted and cared for by a conscientious, hardworking gardener. Due to the close proximity of the mooring line to the ledge on shore, boats have a tendency to rock. Depth 30-100 feet (18-30 meters)

United States PacificEntry is on left side of old wharf. Have to walk about 40 yards in knee deep water on rocks to get to dive location. This is an older wharf that was partially destroyed by a hurricane. Rubble has formed an ideal habitat for reef fish and whitetip sharks. Depth is about 25 feet in area of rubble.

Norway Atlantic (European coastal)This is an old Tall ship that get wrecked at the West coast of Smøla, an island NW of Kristiansund. It is about 12nautical miles to go by boat from Kristiansund. The picture was taken in January and the visibility was good. The dive spot is not sheltered from winds from North, West an South and that is the main wind direction here. The depth is from 10m to 18m.

Norway Atlantic (European coastal)This is about 1 hour with a small boat from Kristiansund, at the NW coast of Norway.
The name of the nearest island is called Hestøya (Horse Island). The dive site is sheltered from the worst weather, but it may be bit current and that does so it becomes a rich macro life. The depht you can vary from the surface to about 30-35 meters. This picture is taken in the winter when the visibility is at it`s best.
Mostly I use my own boat for diving around Kristiansund.

Cayman islands Caribbean SeaA snorkel at dawn gives you amazing light on this shallow snorkel. Stingrays will swim out on their way to the first tourists boats, but don't feed them. They keep coming back, swim between you and sometimes give you a massage with their wings. The place is magic!

Micronesia Philippine SeaVertigo is on the West Side of Yap Island. A wide shallow barrier reef drops at the breakers to about 5 meters and from there on it slops to about 15 meters to finally break into a wall. The reef has deep cuts, similar to rivers. The structures are stone corals. Vertigo is famous for it's sharks. Dominant are grey reef sharks and black-tip reef sharks. Occasionally we have hammerheads, sivertips and we had a tiger. Current on full/new moon, otherwise very calm. Extremely clear visibility 30+ meters. Very nice and exciting dive site for sharks. We offer shark feedings on the site and have up to 35 sharks at the time there - find more on our web site
