The wreck of Umbria lies in 0-90 feet of water, just outside the harbour in Port Sudan. The ship is leaned against the reef at a 45 degree angle. It was sunk by its own crew in 1940 to prevent its cargo of war materials to fall into allied hands.

This was taken just outside of South Male Atol in the Maldives. I can't remember the name of the wreck, but she was a small supply ship that sat perfectly upright in the sand. With an abundance of life the mast provided a nice photo oppertunity. D70.

Vapper, a very large fishing trawler, was lost during towing. Now she is the ideal playground for divers and photographers. The bow stands tall, and the towing cables that broke, now hangs down to the bottom. Image shot on Agfa Scala B&W at 1600 iso
