Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
My book says, that this is an so called "Strawberry Worm". Strange critter ! It's body is around 3cm small, the tentacles are around 20 cm long. After more than 3500 dives that was the first time I ever saw this animal.

Mushroom Scorpion Fish. We say in Bonaire " the dives not over until we craw out of the water. This guys EYE caught my eye when I was in about 8 feet of water. Nikon D80 sea and sea 60mm macro.
