Light bulb sea squirts (Clavelina lepadiformis). Shot last weekend off Exmouth. S coast of England in about 8m.  Forgot to charge flash - so natural light.  They are almost transparent and very difficult to light.

A corkwring wrasse on the James Egan Layne.  A Liberty ship torpedoed in 1944 just outside Plymouth harbour.  Shot with new Canon Powershot G10 before I got the flash sync sorted.

I know jewel anemonies are a cliche - but not without reason.  Raglan Reef in SW England has walls and walls of these in all colours - this is why I dive in England.  Shot with a Canon G10

Hey its raining !
I tried lots of ways to capture the ferocity of a rain forest "shower" - this comes near. Taken while snorkelling from the Japamala Hotel on Tioman Island, Malaysia

This is a huge Luidia. Photographed near the "Mannacles" reef in the SW of England. These starfish are quite common, and move suprisingly fast on their long tube feet. This one was a real bruiser - 0.5m across

Velvet swimming crabs really do have red eyes! shot of Lyme Regis last weekend in about 20m - with a Canon Powershot G10. Image hardly touched, just a little cropping
