The Flying Saucer... Frontal portrait of a Giant Manta Ray filter-feeding. These little angels can have a wingspan of more than 7 metres... but they have no sting in the tail and feed exclusively on plankton so they are true gentle giants!

Green Turtle resting, in Sipadan, Borneo. Sipadan is world class for turtles. The red colour of the foreground and the black of the background give the shot a great contrast. Taken with natural light, and then corrected the blue hue.

Super-closeup of Sarasvati Anemone Shrimp (Periclimenes Sarasvati). The image shows excellent detail: the internal organs, the hairs in the legs, the texture of the antennae. Angel Reef, Moyo Island, Indonesia
