Spawning Sponge. On our last dive day in Cozomel the sponges decided to spawn, this was the first morning dive and by 11 am you couldn't see 3 feet.

Nudibranch: Ceratosoma trilobatum - Reasonably common at Wreck Point and Canyons dive sites along Taiwan NE Coast, always a delight to notice one of these large and colorful nudibranchs making its way along the bottom.

A colorful nudie
Two flamingo tongues browsing a soft coral.
a nice Nudi (Tritonia challengeriana)very common at the Magellan region, Chile
Loch's Chromodoris from Taveuni, Fiji. We saw quite a few of these in the Somo Somo Straits and refered to them as "Toothpaste" Nudibranch. Everyone knew what you meant. Canon A70 with internal flash
'NIGHT BLOOMING CORAL' Tubastrae; seen relatively often here - but a worthy and beautiful subject. One of the handful of corals species found everywhere within the band of Tropics. Loloata, Port Moresby, PNG. Enjoy!

Clam - Taken while diving Green Island on a weekend trip 11-12 November. Lots of clams such as this are embedded in the reef. Likely Tridacna, or giant clam, genus; though not the true Giant Clam species. Took this photo because it is beautiful.

This Moridilla brockii motored over the background sponge and onto this piece of weed in only a matter of seconds...a "static subject" he wasn't! Canon 20D, Canon 60mm, Inon 220s + 240 strobes.
