thank for your latest submission to the UWP contest 
You had requested a review/critique of your photo. Let me shortly explain how it works :
I will structure my critique into a few chapters and will list some suggested solutions to problem zones
( if there are any ). My critique will be like 2-3 posts in total.
As we photo critics do this job as volunteers, a "thank you" is always appreciated.
Important : The new "photo critique" feature here at UWP is not meant to "slaughter" uw photos
- it is meant to give a helping hand with an analytic review & to suggest solutions.
The objective is to see you here as winner one day
But also, this service is not a uw photography school. My objective is to give you an idea how a contest judge would see & judge your photo.

First impression
1) "a nice start !", 2) "could be a bit closer"
Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 )
Exposure : 5, Colours: 5, Sparpness: 3, DOF ( depht of field ) : 3
Suggestions :
As I do know your kind of camera, I think you managed the best possible with this uw equipment regarding the technical part ;-)
Composition
Generally, your composition could work if consider some slight improvements.
Suggestions :
Try to go a bit closer - if this is the closest possible for your camera, think of buying an external macro adaptor(close up lens ), consider a diagonal frame to have the shell complete in the frame and take care of to always have the eyes of the animal in sharp focuss. You might even consider a vertical frame for this one ;-)

Close approach...that's good. With the help of an external closeup lens you probably could ( and should ) go even closer to capture more details. I liked the colour combination and the scenery of your photo works for me
Suggestions :
Just a bit closer...if possible ;-)
Epilogue
Where I live, many people are using your camera model....and they all complain and don't like it. Your photo is one of the better photos, considering your uw photo gear. Therefore . Good job and : Welcome to the UWP contest !!!
