Photo critique post 1 HI, thank for your latest submission to the UWP contest You've requested a critique of your photo. How it works : I will structure my critique into a few chapters and will list some suggested solutions to problem zones ( if there are any ). My critique will be like 2-3 posts in total, please wait with any answers untill you see the note "photo critic completed" - thanks As we photo critics do this job as volunteers, a "thank you" is always appreciated ( no "thanks" = no more critiques ). Photo critiques here at UWP are meant to give a helping hand with an analytic review & to suggest solutions. The objective is to see you here as winner one day And here we go ( critique/review starts with the next post | Doc Dray 8067 point member

post 2 Photo Critique First impression Great subject, but why the circle. Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 ) Exposure : 4, Colours: 4, Sparpness: 4, DOF ( depht of field ) : 4, Contrast : 3 Suggestions : I’m not sure about the tilting of the photo, I think it would look great level. Colours are good. The diver is a great position showing the proportions of the tank. Again I’m awarded with a good photo for the critique. Were it not for the 2 critiques I gave above, I think you could have a winner. Do you have photos without the circle and a level tank? I’m curious to see them. Maybe it would change my opinion about the above. Well done, keep it up Tobias. Happy bubbles, Dray website --------Photo Critique completed-------- | Doc Dray 8067 point member

Thanks, Dray, for the critique. So you mean without the cicle it would be a good picture? I have several pictures from the tank. Here is another one: website | Tobias Friedrich 454 point member

Another great photo Tobias. My wife likes the first one better and I must say the black of the circle adds something. Maybe I would have preferred a full circle not cut of at the edges. So maybe in a square. Happy Bubbles | Doc Dray 8067 point member

Two complete different pictures, same subject. ;-) When I zoom back the Tokina Fisheye completely it gives it the circle effect, but thats the maximum I can get cicle-wise. As well it gives it the maximum wide angle and max closeup. | Tobias Friedrich 454 point member

Than leave it as it is. It's a great picture. You can be proud. I saw your website and was impressed. Happy Bubbles, Dray | Doc Dray 8067 point member
