Manta Reef, Tofo, Mozambique
Chambers reef, Tofo
Whip coral goby at 9 Mile reef, Sodwana Bay. Spent nearly my whole dive trying to get this one...
The captain's cabin of the Thistlegorm, Red Sea
A surgeon fish at Anton's, Sodwana Bay. I slightly darkened the background to bring out the bright yellow and cyan blue.
This was a very big one! It was in a cleaning station and you can see the far stare in its eye. At Bikin reef, Sodwana Bay
I could not believe the size of the fan corals in the Red Sea. Small Crack with 18-85 lens
Although wary of giving sleeping fish arch eyes, I just had to take a shot of the puppy face of the masked puffer, which is extremely busy in the water during the day.
Blue banded snappers and Mercia at Stringer reed, Sodwana Bay
Tofo threes, Mozambique
Brushing teeth at 7Mile reef, Sodwana Bay
Nudibramch at Simon's Cave, Sodwana Bay.
Red anemone fish at 7 Mile reef at Sodwana Bay, South Africa
Red anemone fish at my favourite reef at Sodwana Bay with a 50mm macro lens.
Pregnant ragged tooth sharks come to a shallow reef at Sodwana Bay every year. The sand whipped up by the fairly strong surge makes a haze curtain through which the shark submarines appear one after the other. 10-20mm lens.
I had a 50mm macro lens on my camera when we dived Doodles, not expecting anything big to come visit that day. As Murphy arranged, the Manta Ray circled more than 10 minutes around us.
