Although I had already graduated, I joined the underwater class for one last dive in the Channel Islands off the coast of California. I spent a bit of time snorkeling the shallow areas & shooting with the natural sun light streaming through the water
After my second dive of the day, I snorkeled around the reef a bit before having to go back to the boat. Found this cool rock and coral mound just below the surface. Shot with my Canon 60D, Tamron 10-24mm, and Ikelite housing.
Snorkling over the Great Barrier Reef. Shot with Canon 60D and Tamron 10-24mm lens. Ikelite housing with dome port.
Large Staghorn coral with a variety of fish swimming around it at Saxon reef in the Great Barrier Reef. Used a Canon 60D with Tamron 10-24 lens and an Ikelite housing and dome port.
A picture of my fins the first time I put them in the Great Barrier Reef. I'd been planning the dive for years and was excited to finally be there. The water was bluer and clearer than I expected. Shot with my Canon 60D in an Ikelite housing.
Small bladders and blades from new growths on a stalk of Giant Kelp in Catalina Island, California.
Kelp at Santa Cruz in the Channel Islands.
