Wreck of the RMS Rhone, Salt Island, British Virgin Islands, Nikonos V, 35mm lens.
Horseye Jacks - I love the surreal quality of this mostly blue shot which I converted to black and white in Photoshop. Roatan, Honduras, Nikonos V, 35mm lens.
Sea Turtle Pool, Coral World Marine Park, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Injured and sick sea turtles are brought here to recover. Nikon N50, 28-80 zoom.
Flame File Clam - Our divemaster on the liveaboard told us to look for this clam that displays a type of electrical charge that looks like a blue zigzag lightening bolt (visible at top right of clam). Great Barrier Reef, Australia, housed Nikon N50.
Spinyhead Blenny in Star Coral. These tiny fish inhabit the holes left in the coral by Christmas Tree Worms. Al's Cut, U.S. Virgin Islands, Nikonos V, 35mm lens, 1:1 extension tube.
Cheap Sunglasses - These dudes (bluebell tunicates) look like they're wearing sunglasses! St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Nikonos V, 35mm lens, 2:1 extension tubes.
Off the Wall - Diver and deep sea fans, Columbia Reef, Cozumel. Nikon N50 in Ikelite housing, 20mm Nikkor lens.
Fingerprint Cyphomas Mating - This shot was taken in less than 6 feet of water while snorkeling on Smith Reef, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, Nikonos V, 35mm lens, 1:1 extension tube.
Coral Encrusted Anchor - This anchor was so big that my strobe wouldn't cover the whole thing, so it came out mostly blue. Coverted to black and white in Photoshop. Heron Island, Australia, Nikonos V, 35mm lens.
Diver and Jelly. I was just starting my descent when I spotted this Club Jellyfish. I didn't see the diver until I got back and processed the film. Grand Cayman, Nikonos V, 35mm lens.
Blue Diver, Cozumel, Mexico, Nikon N50 in Ikelite Housing, 20mm Nikkor lens
Aerial view of shipwreck on Great Barrier Reef near Lizard Island. Nikon N50, 28-80 zoom.
Black Hole - This macro shot of a Moon Jellyfish looks like something you might see in ourter space. Congo Cay, U.S. Virgin Islands; Nikonos V, 35mm lens 1:1 extension tube
Swimming Crinoids on Sea Plume - Amazing Abyss, Grand Turk, Nikonos V, 20mm lens.
These true clown anemonefish were really hamming it up for the camera. I photographed this pair in their anemone on Australia's Great Barrier Reef using a Nikon N50 in an Ikelite housing with dual Ikelite 50 substrobes.
