Surfacing Seal. A harbor seal dances in the clear, shallow waters at Anacapa Island. An old image from 2002, shot with a Nikonos V and 15mm lens. Shot at f/4 and 1/125 seconds.

California Diving at its best.
The kelp forests of Anacapa Island abound with life from the tiniest nudibranchs to the largest marine mammals. I shot this image diving a spot known as "The Channels" while looking for harbor seals.
