message i'm not quite sure what this image is, which i suppose is the first critique: What is the subject? sometimes the shapes and images underwater do lend themselves to abstract - i try this a lot myself - but then the beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the response will often be subjective.

this one does not strike me as a good abstract subject.

That being said the lighting is good and even across the subject - which can sometimes be difficult. The exposure looks good for the subject and the depth of field bringing the darker background into the lighter foreground is good.

So, good lighting and exposure, good depth of field, I am just not sure what the'story' or the subject is about....
