message We used a black matting in behind the Nudi. Then positioned the strobes facing towards the camera turned down to drop off as much background as possible.

message Thanks. So I guess it means picking it up and placing on the background?!
Not sure I like handling them and it definitely is not allowed in some places I have dived .... but it certainly gives a nice effect.

message Typically we find these guys on eel grass and will find them floating around in the water column and these guys also crawl quite fast so we will put the matting down in front of them and let them crawl upon it smile
