In motion
Cyclopterus lumpus male. In his neigbourhood we found his eggs on 2 places. The male is protecting them till the juvenile come out, 4-8 weeks later. These picture was made on a depth of 10 meters, usualy it is hard to make a natural light picture .
The Myoxocephalus scorpius male is protecting the eggs. He will defend and clean them for about 5 weeks. When he saw his own face in my dome port, he attacked it immediately….
Chrysaora hysoscella. When I tell people I like jellyfish they think I am crazy....

I am just out of the water of 2° C, and made these winterpicture of the Metridium senile. Our goal was to find the Cyclopterus lumpus, we will try again next week....
The last picture from my half/half test in the chanle close to my home. I saw the insects later on the PC.
I will add some pictures of my freshwater experience the next days. I am not sure if I have to put them in the category Over/Under or freshwater. I made these pictures in a small chanel close to my home.

Sabella pavonina. Last summer most of them are eaten by a new predator for the Netherlands, the Tubulanus superbus.
Thecacera pennigera. one of the colourful nudibranches in the Netherlands. Unfortunately not so often seen. This is the first one I spotted, with thanks to my buddy Wim who found it.

Dendronotus frondosus. Most of the time hidden, I was lucky this one came out of it´s camouflage.

This is my favorite because i won my wheight in chocolat with the seahorse.
These pictures of the mating of the Sepia was made at a moment with good visibility, no other divers around and som sunlight at 7 meter depth.
