Kissing under the ocean. A couple of porcupine fish caught in the act! Taken in 60ft of water at 100ft distance with digital zoom. No wide angle. Turks & Caicos, at dive site called Eel Garden. Nice!

I saw this guy coming toward me, and I knew he would be gone in a flash when he sees me, so hid behind a coral head and he went right over me... and for those of you wondering... yes... I was holding my breath :P

Full-frame macro of a Southern Stingray eye. The iris looks like something made of gold that you would see around a pharaoh's neck. Turks and Caicos.

Anemone and fish. The black and white of the fish make a nice contrast to the bright colors of the anemone. Turks and Caicos. D100 and 105mm lens.

Red Hind macro. I am fascinated by the eyes of fish. I particularly like "through the eye" shots. Note the strobe reflected in the eye.

Shark nosed goby. The metallic blue of his sides would look really good on the paint job of a car. He was more than happy to pose and show it off.

Sillouette of my wife, Debra, returning to the T&C Aggressor after a photo dive. The see-through Force fins look kinda cool. The boat adds depth.

Full-frame macro of a feather duster. The details visible in this shot make it easy to see where the name comes from. I was very pleased with the lighting and negative-space background on this one. D100 and 105 lens.

Full frame macro of a Christmas Tree worm. Backlit with strobe. Hard to get this close but, if you are patient, they pop back out and make good macro subjects. D100 and 105mm lens.
