Freshwater snails are not as colourful as others slugs but are still one of my favourite motives. April and Mai have been a wonderful time to see them in the shallow water of the Bodensee.
March is the favourite time for searching in the german lakes, here the Bodensee, for snails as it's the time for mating. The shot was done with a little help of a tube and some extra background underwater.
A crawfish was quiet interested in my camera, or me, and followed me for a while. The picture was taken in winter at the Lake Constance (Bodensee) in South Germany.
A wonderful dive in the morning when the sun came out and the lionfish was approaching the reef.
Tokong, a beautiful divespot close to Sumatra.
The underwater world below 20 Meter still looks amazing but above 20 meter the 2004 Tsunami destroyed most of the life. But more than 13 years later natur recovers more and more
The Karwella, one of my favourite wrecks around Gozo, Malta. Always worth a dive.
A coral wire shrimp in black and white
A sunbeam shines through an hole inside the comino caves.
A great divespot during winter. A wild man above and underwater :-) Above it is the hotel...
Having another view to a wreck. The Rozi is a tugboat in front of the harbour of Malta. I'd loved to show the wreck in another kind of way than you usually do.
