Ex Search and Rescue Helicopter - Capernwray Quarry. Lets hope this is the only time we have to see the inside of a SAR helicopter. EOS5D, 15mm Sigma FE, Nikonos SB105.

The Blast Hut - This photograph was taken at the bottom (18m) of a flooded slate quarry in North Wales. These quarries extended below the water table and therefore filled once their comercial life came to an end.
