I wanted a shot of the stern of the Giannis D, but there were loads of divers on the wreck. Waiting until the last moments of the dive as everyone headed for safety stops I got this shot in peace and quiet!

A festive, though rather chilly (6 degrees) dive in Capernwray Quarry, Lancashire 23rd December, around the Jet Plane.

This is actually a split shot, but more topside than underside so I put it in the Topside category. I moved into deeper water but didn't have an underside subject, so used my strobes to light the underside area, creating the turquoise colour.

This playful Grey Seal off Lundy Island sneaked up behind me and took me by surprise. As he Clambered over the top of my head, I turned the camera to shoot at myself, capturing an image of the cheeky chap at the same time.

A chilly 9 degrees in the sea off the Farne Islands but this playful seal certainly made up for it.
