"Shadow Chaser" - This Great Hammerhead was approaching me while diving with the reflection of the sand. My strobes actually malfunctioned so I had to use the natural light. This picture shows the Hammer chasing its shadow in a way.

After spending several days with this mama and calf at Roca Partida, Socorro, we watched in horror as two Orcas killed the baby. This photo reminds me of the beautiful encounter I had. The circle of life is magnificent yet cruel.

Dreams/Manta in the night
Taking a midday break from diving the crystal clear conditions tempted me back into the water for a closer look at a shallow wreck. Once in the water I lost interest in the wreck and turned my attention to these simple but beautiful leaf reflections.
