A rare day at Point Pinos south of Monterey. Notoriously strong currents and big swell make this site undiveable except for a couple days a year. This was my first dive with a camera. Canon SD550

The diver of my team is cutting with his knife the net in the spermwale's tail that go up and down 3 or 4 metres so the diver have had ear compesation problems and nausea. Note the injuries in the edge of tail.
