The Pace Quickens - two oceanic whitetips (Carcharhinus longimanus) dart in front of me, too quickly to wipe the water bubbles off my dome.....

"Little Stretch" - a small (baby?) Octopus vulgaris, at the Monterey Breakwater, found after a long day with twelve Open Water students in bad vis.... Nikon D300 in Aquatica, Nikkor 12-24mm, Sea & Sea YS90 strobes.

"Ghosts of the Old Gods" - the sand tiger sharks (Carcharias taurus) of North Carolina strike a menacing profile, but they're actually quite languid and gentle. Nikon D300 in Aquatica, Nikkor 12-24mm, ambient light.
