A grey nurse shark gets very, very close to my dome port at Rottnest Island. Taken with the Tokina 10-17 on my Nikon D300.

When the watertemperature in the Oosterschelde reaches 12 degrees the Cuttlefish is coming. For a lot of divers the reason to dive there now.

Striped Frogfish (or Striped Anglerfish as we Aussies call them). Shot taken muck diving in Chowder Bay on the north shore of Sydney Harbour, Australia. Water temp a chilly 18 degrees - brrrr!!

These jellyfish looks like an Ufo in space. The backscatter are the stars, I didn’t remove it because I like the effect.

Cyclopterus lumpus can be found in the beginning of each year in our Oosterschelde. The coloured males stay in the neighbourhood of the eggs for about 6 weeks. After that they disappear to deeper waters. Notice the green colour of our Northsee.
