Let the sun shine in ! smile I have encountered this tube worm in Kabatepe during my weekend dive trip. Requires looots of patience. Nikon 60mm Macro in a Sea&Sea Housing + YS-110 with TTL converter.
Do you feel like a star ? smile Nikon 10.5mm Fish-eye with YS-110 in TTL Mode. Shot off the coast of Cesme.
Barracudaaaaaaaa smile Captured at Barracuda Point in Sipadan. Nikon D200 and Sigma 15mm fish-eye lens with Sea&Sea YS-110 flash in TTL mode.
Little ray of sunshine... Usually it is not right to shoot a subject from behind, but this little lion fish was so attractive with its fins spread out that I could not miss the chance smile Nikon 60mm SB800 in Fantasea Housing in TTL mode.
Pretty Nudi...
Another one of my trials with the SB800 Flash in Fantasea Housing in TTL mode.
The gentle giant smile I captured this morray in Fethiye looking at me out of its hole with a quite relaxed gaze. Nikon 60mm with SB800 Flash in a Fantasea Housing running in TTL mode.

Single flash can work! it's quite moody when a dual flash might be too clean. Well done Andre
Hey you !!! Throw me something to eat ! Graaawllll ! smile
Captured in Kapalai on a night dive. Nikon 60mm macro.
Just another perfect sunny day under water in the color rich waters of the Red Sea. The reef itself is, in a single word, a wonder !
Nikon 10.5 Fisheye with YS250 Pro Flash.
Wreck and videographer, up close and personal... Except for me documenting it of course smile Nikon 10.5 mm Fish Eye with YS 250 Pro UW Flash.
It was the end of a very nice dive in Tiran and everybody went back to the dive boat. However I just could not resist the beauty of the reef under the perfect sunny day. I decided to go a little bit creative. Daylight shot coupled with UW Flash smile

Yet another macro subject from the waters of Mabul. Usually found in small crevices in the shallow reefs. I love these critters smile
Who said that porcelain crabs are shy ? I was so surprised that when he rose up and gave me this shot . No wonder that Kapalai is famous for its macro life subjects.
Amphoramania ! Shot off the coast of Kaş in the Mediteranean Sea. Very tempting !
There is nothing more abundant in Sipadan then turtles. You can even convince one to pose for you. It will be happy to oblige smile
Kapalai always offers a large variety of critters for the macro enthusiast. During any regular dive to the 10+ diving sites around the area, it is guaranteed that you will have a lot of opportunities to get that one shot you want smile
A little bit of playful creation. Mantis shrimp captured in Kapalai just off the jetty of the dive resort. The whole background reef removed by photoshop.
A glimpse of the descent down the deco line... Shot off the coast of Kabatepe, in the North Aegean Sea.
Kaş, one of the most popular diving spots in Turkey is well known for its nudi branches. Any underwater photographer with a keen eye can spot them. I have found this one in the dive area called "Flying Fish" .
Kapalai and mabul offers some of the best possibilities for macro photography subjects. It is just a matter of grabbing your 60mm lens and a pair of good flashes, then you are in business smile
I captured this shot with my Nikon D70s in a Sea&Sea Housing modified for use with SB800 in TTL mode. Flash housing was Fantasea. SB800 in Fantasea housing in TTL mode frequently gives too much light, but still was OK producing a very natural look.
This blue ribbon eel was sticking out of hole which made it impossible to completely isolate the surroundings with the correct settings on the camera, so I have blacked out surrounding reef with photoshop to create this dramatic effect smile
Sometimes you meet the most unusual subject in a place you expect the least. This subject was right under the jetty in Kapalai behind steps and most incredibly, spotted at the end of a very long night dive ! Very rewarding ! smile
I have met this beauty on a sunset dive off the jetty of the dive resort in Kapalai. Ideally, I was looking for a pair of them, but he was hard to resist . I was very happy with the result smile
A popular wreck in the Aegean sea off the coast of Cesme . The ship's name is MONEM. Me and buddy were the last ones off the wreck before the dive boat left. I decided to snap one last shot off the bow with my buddy in the back ground...
