Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Does anyone know what kind of fish this is?
"Speed". A canarian parrot-fish flying over the sea-grass. Gran Canaria.

Close encounters of the third kind... Taken on the safety stop after a night dive. Not really fiddled with, apart from removing annoying specks from the background.

Ghost Pipefish shot in the Similan Islands from recent trip to Thailand. I will be posting some of these images over the next several weeks.
This parrot-fish is a symbol of the Canary Islands. The males are completely grey and the females have the colour shown here.

Blue banded goby seeking protection from a sea urchin. Catalina Island, CA. Taken on April Fool's Day.
Neon Gobies share a trait with a cousin called the Sharknose Goby. The name comes from their noses which look like, you guessed it, shark's noses. This shot I think caught that aspect...

We happened upon this leaf fish where we I happened to change over to full manual. When he open his mouth the second time I happened to be focused and ready to take a picture. To my surprise it came out beutifully.
