The beauty of the Ras Mohammad National Park
Whaaaaaz uuup!!!!
Another attempt at a sunset "BT" image that is kinda ok.....
"Silver & Gold"
Beauty & Youth surround the reefs this time of the year in Sodwana. A spectacle that should not be missed.
"Gin & Tonic"
Thought I would pop this one on quickly, that based on the preferred poison for this afternoon wink
The MV Produce and her guardians.....
"A Moment in Time"
An early birthday gift from the ocean yesterday, feeling blessed to have spent 2 days join the ocean witnessing some amazing natural events and behaviours.
"Bucket List 7"
Finally and thanks to my awesome waterman Emil!
"SSSS" - Sea, Sand, Sun, Shark!!!
"Its all in the Eye"
This young female raggie finally snapped and fought back when a big potato bass kept on pushing her around, I was lucky enough to capture the moment.
Gold Medal Gold Medal 2016

Final RoundThrough to 2016 awards final round judging
"The Stand"
A Cape Fur Seal barks at me, showing his annoyance at my presence in his domain.
Oceanic Black Tip breaks the surface to then drop down below again in an attempt to feed on some fish close to the surface.
"The Approach"
Taken during a natural predation event of an Humpback Whale Carcass, no cages, just 2 to 3 GW's, 15+ Tigers, Bulls, Dusky's and Oceanic Black tips, a whale carcass and a few divers (who may be a little crazy)
I cannot get enough of the different expressions the Oceanic Black Tips have when you photograph them! This guy behind the main shark in frame is just to cool.....its a "hehehe I have a plan" look!
"Cap la Houssaye" - Divers exploring the volcanic tunnels at the dive site.
"Great White"
On the 22.08.2015 my life changed forever and I was fortunate enough to dive with 3 of the oceans top apex predators, GW, Tigers and Zambezi's without any cages or restrictions! Here is one of the images.
Natural predation of a Humpback Whale carcass by sharks including some Great Whites of the coast of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
"Star of the Show"
A black tip slowly cruises past with the late afternoon sun glistening on her back, just something so surreal about this image and actually witnessing the moment in the water.
"Speed" - this image really brings a smile to my face every time I look at it!
"Shout" - One of my personal favourites wink

The lighting here is incredible! Paired with an excellent pose, this shot is a well deserved winner.
Red and Blue I see Raggies two wink
"The Gathering"
These guys are pretty territorial and defend their areas with vigour, so pretty cool to see 4 of them together.
"The Order of Things" - Life in the ocean is so unknown, yet we fly to the moon, experiment on Mars, all our research to find a human habitat in space in stead of understanding the ocean, a habitat that supports earth!!! A rather crazy notion!!!

Extraordinary image! Nature's beauty at it's best with perfect composition adding to the "Order of things".
A portrait of a blackcheek moray with a difference!
Dusky shark bursting through bait ball during the annual Sardine Run of the Wild Coast of the Transkei, South Africa.
