Jim Chambers | Atlanta, Georgia. I have been diving since 1987, mostly in the Caribbean, but I have been to Fiji twice and once to the Philippines. Starting with a Nikonos V, then a housed film SLR, I am now using a Nikon D300 in Aquatica housing, with an SB800 flash in a Subal housing, and Nikon 60mm and 105mm micro lenses. I only shoot macro/close-up, and I love looking for the little critters.
My favorite dive location is the Southern Cross Club on Little Cayman, BWI.
My most valuable asset is my wife/dive buddy Deborah (aka sharkbait!).
And I'm an old guy... from 1946. Retired civil engineer, but I still work part-time in engineering. | | United States
|
Paul Hunter | Im currently using a Nikon D200 with a Sea & Sea housing. I mostly use my 105 macro lens or a 18-35mm zoom lens and 10.5mm fisheye for wide angle stuff. I live in South Africa so I do most of my diving on the Natal north coast at a place called Sodwana. | My Website

Andy Lerner | I've been diving since 92, and taking pix since 2000. Most of my interest in the last few years has been in the Pacific. | | United States

Ugo Gaggeri | I am an Physician specialized in Occupational Medicine and, my great passion, dive instructor from 2002. I began to shoot uw photos first with a Nikonos IV, than, in the digital era, with a Sony and a Nikon Coolpix. In 2007 I made the cross over and currently I use a Canon EOS 350D (lens: Canon 60 mm macro and Sigma 12-24 mm) in Fantasea housing with standard port and dome port . Two strobes from Sea&Sea.
My favorite dive sites are in tropical/subtropical area and my Mare Nostrum. | | Italy

Arun Madisetti | Born young, I began swimming from the age of 3. snorkeling at 5 and diving at 16 and never looked back. Got a Minolta Weathermatic as a present on completing the dive course and imploded it a year later. I've been published in several magazines; some with articles, some without, brochures, fliers, on the web, and some coffee table books. I was the first person from the Caribbean to be showcased at the Hamasat in Taif Saudi Arabia.
Current underwater camera system is now an Ikelite D7200 housing with Inon z220 strobe and D2000 slaves (i'm an Inon Ambassador). I have been a scuba instructor since 1988 first with BS-AC in the UK then switched to PADI. A postgrad marine biologist for longer.
I suppose sperm Whale images are my "thing", its how I make my living as a stills or assistant cameraman . I am a director of Images Dominica with business partner Simon Walsh. | | Dominica

christian skauge | Diver/uw-photographer from Oslo, Norway. I use a Nikon D300s in a Nauticam housing, with 2x Inon Z-240 strobes. My two favourite places to dive are Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean, and Gulen Dive Resort on the Norwegian west coast. Both places offer spectacular macro - and wide angle too :-) | My Website

Beverly Speed | I live in Fort Myers, FL, USA, with 5 birds and a husband who generously supports my passion for diving and photography. My first UW photo, an eye of a Scorpionfish, was taken with a Nikonos III in the early 1990*s, and from that point forward, I was hooked (parden the pun). My digital days began in late 2004 with a Nikon D70, Aquatica housing, and dual Inon Z220s strobes. | My Website

Rick Tegeler | Until late 2004 I used 2 separate housed Nikons Fs (yep, thats correct - Fs) in Niko Mar III housings: 24mm, 55mm and assorted. Assorted strobes. Now a D100 and D7000 - assorted lenses/strobes. Also usually carry a Nikonos II (a classic!) with a 15mm lens slung around my neck - just in case!
Diving for 45 years - well in excess of 10,000 dives. I've dived just about everywhere within the band of Tropics and have had the good fortune over the years to be the "first" in many (now) well-known dive destinations. Check my website out for more details.
Current favorite spot - PNG. Bought a bit land on the the remotest part of remote New Ireland from a local chief for a boat, two pigs and some shell money and dive my brains out there once a year for over a month. Decompress by visiting Walindi, Loloata and Tufi. PNG is "IT" IMHO. I currently live in British Columbia, Canada enjoying the best of both worlds - Sea and Mountains. . I have been taking u/w images since the late 1960s. | My Website

Sam Taylor | The Fleet photo/video pro for Mike Ball Dive Expeditions in Australia & PNG. I've been lucky enough to get paid to take pictures of fish all over Asia pacific & beyond. I shoot the old faithful Nikonos 5 with all the bells & whistles, a Sony vx1000 & Amphibico housing & a Nikon D-70 in an Aquatica housing amung others. Been into photo work now for over 10 years. The best diving I've found thus far is a split decision between Yap, Palau & PNG...too tough to call. | | Australia
