What are we looking at?
This is the Flamingo Tongue sea-snail.
"Lion Hunter" part of my Underwater Surrealism body of work. Lionfish are ambush predators. This image is re-imagining how they would be on land like actual lions in Africa.

"The Writer" part of my Underwater Surrealism body of work. This image is playing off the inking abilities of the squid. Squid release their ink in stressful situations, just like many people do the same with ink while writing in dairies.
