A Coral Guard Crab on post in French Polynesia.
Attack of the Sheep Crab! / These large crabs are often found scavenging the ocean floors of Southern California. They make for an interesting subject when in defense mode!
Land of fire and ice/ A diver exploring Iceland's incredible underwater scenery.
Sun rays/ The beautiful, vast sandy bottom.
A lone Garibaldi hanging around the canopy of the Southern Californian giant Kelp forest.
When the kelp is gone/ California’s temperate waters change drastically throughout the year. During the summer these rocky reefs are desolate due to warm water. However in the winter these same rock walls are full of life with towering kelp forests.

The Orange-Fin Anemonefish (Amphiprion chrysopterus) is one of the many colorful reef fish of the South Pacific. This small specimen was found at a depth of approximately 20m, off the island of Mo'orea.
