Locked on the prey and ready for ambush! I think I was a sidekick - my dive light made the night hunt *very easy* for this lionfish.
Swimming pool session. Reflections and colors are real - not photoshopped. Minor adjustments to levels and saturation.

One very hungry manta during night time feeding frenzy. Canon T1i with Tokina 10-17mm fisheye lens in Ikelite housing with DS-125 strobe.
A rising star. This was an experiment trying to balance three different light sources - ambient light, a model with the torch and a single strobe illuminating a giant whip coral and the model's face. Canon T1i in Ikelite housing with DS-125 strobe.
Christmas tree worm. Taken with Canon XSi in ikelite housing, EF 100mm USM macro lens, DS-125 dual strobes.

The whip coral.
An underwater playground ... Taken with Canon XSi and Tokina 10-17mm fisheye in ikelite housing, dual DS-125 strobes,
A tiny procelain crab hiding inside a finger coral at night. Canon XSi with EF 100mm USM macro in Ikelite housing with DS-125 strobes.
Size doesn't matter! Male Sailfin blenny protecting his territory against "the intruder". He actually nibbled on my daughter's finger when she moved it just a tiny bit closer.
Off the hook! (but with the hook) This shark has been going through tough times, as evident by the scars and the hook in her mouth. I wish people would realize that sharks are not enemies, and that we ruibn the planet by killing them!
This shot was taken by my wife with Canon PowerShot A610 while I was shooting manta (she happened to be an excellent model). It was that 'once in a lifetime' moment - just us and the manta who stayed and played with us for the whole dive.
Juvenile Smooth Trunkfish, ~1/2 inch in size.
Pink (skunk) anemone fish playing "hide and seek". Canon XSI + EFs 17-85mm IS USM lens in Ikelite housing with dual DS-126 strobes.
Two (out of many) reef sharks patroling the waters of the Vertigo dive site off the west side of the Yap island. Canon XSi with EFs 17-85mm IS USM lens in Ikelite housing.
A very curious blenny. Canon XSi with EF-100mm USM macro lens in Ikelite housing, dual DS-125 strobes.
Spotted cleaner shrimp, with transparent body allows you to see the pink eggs inside. Canon XSi with EF 100mm USM macro lens, Ikelite housing and dual DS-125 strobes.
