So annoying to have other males trying to steal my 'girl'.
Take two.
The cleaner wrasse has lots of work to do.
A squat lobster with coloration to match its host feather star.
Focusing on the rhinophores - the major sensory structures.
Flowing snappers at Snapper College, Sodwana Bay.
A trumpetfish.
The baby cuttlefish has just emerged from the egg and is launching itself into the world.
Suddenly it reared up like a frightened horse - Chromodoris africana.
A gorgonian wrapper, so pretty but really a nasty parasite.
A real beauty - Goniobranchus sp.
Showing a leg - a specially adapted one for keeping clean, while filter-feeding.
A trio at the grass bed where the females deposit their eggs.
A crab with a self image problem. It's battling because this 'house' is too big and heavy.
An unexpected visit from a big tiger that came in to check me out. Was sad about the broken-off trace in her mouth.
A beautiful juvenile emperor angelfish. Such a tricky subject because it moves so fast.
I lay on sand quietly watching this chap. Loved it when he opened his mouth for the cleaners.

Gobies laying and fertilising eggs.
A spiny seahorse.
